What is Personal Training?
Many people have goals which they strive to reach e.g. being fitter, slimmer, stronger, or more flexible. It is very difficult to motivate yourself for regular 'workout', and even more difficult to achieve good results, if you do not know how. Personal training means working one-to-one with a professional, enabling you to reach your required goals at a pace which is best for you. Where do I start? CALL US! and we will discuss your requirements for personal training, your goals and current fitness level. Your fitness assessment will be a valuable way of finding out your level of fitness. You will also be offered a dietary analysis, which will enable us to assess your nutritional status. Following this, if you choose to proceed, we will plan an exercise programme to help you improve your fitness, and provide the relevant advice to improve your diet. We will work together to ensure that your wishes are fulfilled. Your Exercise programme We offer a full range of training, including: Cardiovascular training Running Cycling Stepping Swimming Aerobics Power Walking Strength training Free weights Resistance Equipment Pilates... Nutritional Advice and Dietary Analysis You will be required to carefully record your eating and drinking habits over a 7 day period, recording everything that passes your lips, and how much of it! It sounds a daunting task, but if recorded properly (and honestly!) we can get a reasonable picture of your nutritional status. The analysis will include:
Once these assessments are complete, we can form a whole picture of you. This will help us to not only focus on what you weigh. Where will we train?
